Black chauffeur fleet lined up in Dubai
Buyer's guide

Dubai limousine companies, compared honestly.

Rate cards look alike. Licences, inclusions, waiting policies and account terms do not. Here is what to ask any Dubai chauffeur company — and exactly how we answer.

4.9 · 320+ reviews·RTA Trade Licence 578599

Dubai has hundreds of licensed limousine operators and comparing them on headline price alone is close to useless, because every operator excludes something different. Tolls, parking, airport surcharges, night surcharges, luggage fees and metered waiting are the six line items that turn a cheap quote into an expensive ride.

This page is the checklist we would use ourselves: verify the RTA limousine trade licence, get one all-in number for your exact route at your exact hour, read the airport waiting policy, and find out who answers the phone at 02:00. The table sets out our own answers so you can hold any other quote against them.

Chauffeurr is operated by Al Rwad Limousine LLC under RTA Limousine trade licence 578599 — a licensed operator with its own black Mercedes, BMW and premium SUV fleet, all under three years old, and its own permanent panel of chauffeurs. Fixed fares, nothing added after the trip, 24/7 operations across all seven emirates.

  • Ask for the RTA limousine licence number
  • Get one all-in figure for your exact route
  • Read the airport waiting policy in writing
  • Check for night and weekend surcharges
  • Ask whether the chauffeur panel is permanent
  • Confirm invoicing terms before opening an account

In detail

How to compare Dubai limousine companies properly

Dubai has hundreds of licensed limousine operators and the headline rates look broadly similar, which is exactly why the comparison is hard. The differences that actually change what you pay and what you get are rarely on the front page: whether tolls and parking are inside the quote, whether waiting time is metered, whether the operator holds its own RTA limousine licence or subcontracts, and whether there is an operations desk when something goes wrong at 02:00.

Start with the licence. Any legitimate Dubai chauffeur company operates under an RTA limousine trade licence, and the number should be visible on the website. Chauffeurr is operated by Al Rwad Limousine LLC under trade licence 578599. Operators that subcontract every job to whichever car is free that day cannot guarantee vehicle age, chauffeur training or the same driver on a repeat booking — for a one-off airport run that may not matter, and for a monthly account it matters a great deal.

Then read what the price actually contains. Our fixed fares include the chauffeur, fuel, Salik and Darb tolls, parking, and waiting time within the free window; nothing is added after the trip. Elsewhere, a lower headline number can arrive with tolls per gantry, parking at cost, an airport surcharge, a night surcharge, a per-bag fee, or waiting time by the quarter hour. Ask for the all-in figure for your specific route, at your specific hour, and compare those numbers instead of the rate cards.

Ask how the airport pickup works in practice. Inside-arrivals meet-and-greet with a nameboard is a different product from a kerbside call-when-you-land, and the free waiting window differs widely — ours is 60 minutes from actual touchdown on international arrivals, tracked against the flight number. Any operator who cannot tell you their waiting policy in one sentence is likely metering it.

For repeat and corporate use, three questions separate operators quickly: can you request the same chauffeur, is there a monthly VAT invoice with cost-centre tagging on net-30 terms, and who answers the phone at 02:00 — a dispatcher or the driver. Chauffeurr answers yes, yes, and a 24/7 operations desk. Those are the details that decide whether a chauffeur service is infrastructure or an errand.

Finally, match the car to the job rather than to the brochure. An E-Class at AED 120 does an airport transfer perfectly well; an S-Class is worth it when a client is in the back seat; a V-Class or Sprinter is the honest answer for families and groups with real luggage; and the ultra-luxury tier is a full-day hire for weddings, protocol arrivals and shoots. We will tell you when a cheaper vehicle does the same job — that conversation is usually the fastest way to judge any operator.

How global travel programmes use us

A UAE specialist, not a worldwide directory

This page covers buyer's guide. The operating model behind it is the same everywhere we work in the Emirates, and it is the reason international travel programmes route their UAE legs to us.

Most premium chauffeur brands travellers encounter online are global marketplaces: a booking layer in one country, a subcontracted supplier in another, and no accountability in the city where the car actually turns up. Chauffeurr is deliberately the opposite. We operate only in the United Arab Emirates, with our own licensed fleet and permanently employed chauffeurs, which is why hotels, concierge desks, travel management companies and corporate travel teams route their UAE ground legs to us while keeping their global network elsewhere.

Working in a single market allows detail that a worldwide roster cannot reproduce: chauffeurs who know which tower entrance a building's security actually admits cars through, which community gates need a pass logged in advance, where a car may legally wait during a two-hour meeting, and how long a route genuinely takes at 08:00 versus 22:00. Local knowledge of this kind is the difference between a ride that is booked and a ride that works.

Commercially, the arrangement is simple. Partners keep their traveller relationship and their reporting. We supply the vehicle, the chauffeur, the licence trail, consolidated monthly invoicing with VAT, and a single UAE operations contact reachable on WhatsApp at any hour. Corporate accounts get standing rates, cost-centre tagging on every job and a named account manager rather than a support form.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose a limousine company in Dubai?

Check four things: the RTA limousine trade licence is published, the quote is all-in for your exact route and hour, the airport waiting policy is stated in writing, and there is an operations desk rather than a driver's mobile number. Headline rate cards are the least useful comparison point because they exclude different things.

What should be included in a Dubai limousine quote?

Chauffeur, fuel, Salik and Darb tolls, parking and waiting time within the free window. Chauffeurr includes all of those in the fixed fare. Common extras elsewhere are per-gantry tolls, parking at cost, airport surcharges, night surcharges, per-bag fees and quarter-hourly waiting.

Is Chauffeurr a licensed operator or a booking platform?

A licensed operator. Chauffeurr is operated by Al Rwad Limousine LLC under RTA Limousine trade licence 578599, with its own vehicles and its own permanent panel of chauffeurs — not a marketplace that forwards your booking to whichever car is free.

How much should an airport transfer cost in Dubai?

For a DXB transfer into the city, expect around AED 120 for an executive saloon, AED 220 for an S-Class and AED 280 for a seven-seat V-Class, all-in. If a quote is dramatically lower, ask what the tolls, parking, waiting and night policy add — that is usually where the difference lives.

What waiting time should I expect on an airport pickup?

Ours is 60 minutes free from actual touchdown on international arrivals and 30 minutes on regional, tracked by flight number. Anything shorter than 45 minutes on international arrivals is tight for DXB immigration and baggage at busy hours.

Do limousine companies in Dubai offer corporate accounts?

Most do, but the terms vary. The three questions worth asking: can you request the same chauffeur on repeat bookings, is there one monthly VAT invoice with cost-centre tagging, and are the terms net-30. Chauffeurr answers yes to all three, with one-day account onboarding.

Is a limousine cheaper than a taxi in Dubai?

Not per kilometre, but it is fixed. A taxi meter moves with traffic and adds tolls; a chauffeur fare is agreed before you travel and holds regardless of congestion, weather or the hour. On airport runs and inter-emirate trips the fixed fare frequently ends up close to, or below, the metered total.

What vehicle should I book?

An E-Class for airport and city work, an S-Class when a client is in the back seat, a V-Class or Sprinter for families and groups with real luggage, and the ultra-luxury tier — Bentayga, Ghost, Phantom, Cullinan — as an 8-hour day hire for weddings, protocol and shoots. We will recommend the cheaper vehicle when it does the same job.
