The GMC Yukon XL is the extended-wheelbase answer to the luggage problem. Behind its third row there is real cargo volume — not the token space most seven-seaters offer — which makes it the vehicle we send when a family of five arrives at DXB Terminal 3 with seven checked bags, or when a crew needs cases carried alongside passengers.

It seats six comfortably with seven bags, rides high enough for easy entry, and cools quickly in summer through dedicated rear climate zones. On long inter-emirate legs to Abu Dhabi or Ras Al Khaimah the extra wheelbase pays off in stability and rear-seat calm.

Fixed transfers start at AED 290 and hourly hire at AED 360. If luggage rather than passenger count is the constraint, the Yukon XL and the V-Class are the two vehicles worth comparing.

Two practical notes from daily operations. First, the Yukon's height matters more than guests expect: children and elderly passengers board via the running boards without the deep step-up of a minivan, and the driver can load a full trolley of suitcases without re-packing. Second, it is our preferred vehicle for golf bags, strollers and sports equipment — the kind of oversized luggage that turns a three-bag saloon booking into a second car. If your group is six adults without unusual luggage, the Escalade or GLS ride softer; if the bags are the problem, nothing in the fleet beats the Yukon XL's cargo floor.
